Skattkammeret Bodø

Skattkammeret is a leisure time offer for youth. Here, we provide free rental of sports and outdoor equipment for children and teens up to age 20. Adults may also rent the equipment for a low cost. It’s a hangout place, and we organize courses and activities for children and youths.

Students at North University and The Police Academy in Bodø may borrow equipment free of charge upon displaying a valid student ID.

Opening hours:

Mondays and Thursdays: 13-18
Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 13-16

Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays: Closed

Loan period: 1 week (3 days when borrowing a Stand Up Paddleboard)”

Schools and kindergartens:

Please contact us by e-mail one week before the desired loan date. We need the following information:

Date and time of loan
What kind of equipment you want to borrow
Quantity of equipment
Sizes
When you’re planning to return the equipment
Name and number for a contact person responsible for picking up and delivering the equipment.

Are you in need of clothes? Book an appointment by sending an SMS to 488 96 889.

Booking:
1. Send SMS before 15 pm between Monday and Thursday. SMS later than 15 pm will be answered the next opening day. Open for visiting between 13-18 Monday to Thursday.
2. We will send you a confirmation by SMS (the phone is staffed between 12 pm and 15 pm Monday to Thursday).

This is an offer for families where you can get free sports and outdoor clothing (wool, winter jackets, winter trousers, hiking clothes, hiking shoes, training clothes, sneakers, football shoes, etc.) for free.

Families with children can collect presents for own children or children who are going to a birthday party.

There is a need for volunteers to lend out equipment in our lending center, e.g. one day every week / every other week. It would be great if you have sports or outdoor interests.
